Ariana Grande returns to Carpool Karaoke, this time with her pal Seth McFarlane.
This unlikely pair bond over their mutual love for Broadway tunes.
Our girl Ariana Grande finally made her cameo on Apple Music’s version of Carpool Karaoke. Last night Ariana drove around LA with Seth McFarlane, and sang Broadway tune “Suddenly Seymour” from Little Shop of Horrors. The song was complete with a growing Audrey II plant sitting in the back seat.
And things were going great until THIS happened.
Yup, looks like Seth was a little too into the song to remember he was also DRIVING. After the song Ariana addressed it saying, “We almost died!”, but went on to praise their ability to keep singing without skipping a beat.
Ariana also shared this clip on her Instagram, which has been viewed almost 10 million times overnight. Ari wrote, “We shot this almost a year ago so this is very exciting. Hope you enjoy!” Even Kim Kardashian was impressed and commented on her Instagram, “This is amazing!!!”
The musical themed Carpool Karaoke episode saw Ariana admit her dream is to play Elphaba in Wicked, and she would even cancel her world tour if she got the part. After “Suddenly Seymour” Ariana and Seth sang “The Song That Goes Like This” from Spamalot, followed by a song from Wicked, complete with a CGI green witch face and antlers. Then the two pals went through a Starbucks drive thru, before belting out a song from Cinderella and more tunes that many fans couldn’t place. Some Arianators were upset that Ariana didn’t sing ANY of her own tunes on the episode.
