For the past 10 years, around this time of year apple has always come out and released a brand new iphone for consumers to enjoy. Sometimes with large differences, other times with tiny differences. Like when they made the iphone 4s, it’s the exact same thing as the 4, but they added Siri, which changed the game.. Again. Well smart phone competition has been heating up over the last 10 years and android has slowly been nipping away at the heels of apple, grabbing more and more consumers over time.
However, apple is still top dog in the U.S when it comes to their phones and consumer loyalty, and part of the reason why is their ability to sell a sense of style, and elite class of living with their devices.
Their stock has always been on the up, and this year seems to be no exception. The new iphone x is going to have a longer battery, water resistant display, wireless charging, face scanning, and a super AMOLED screen which is a pretty swanky thing, oh also a 4k camera, which is going to be incredible. Even though these features have been a part of android’s flagship phones for the past year, apple has their own special way of reinventing it.
It does look like the next generation of iphone are going to cost around 1,000 dollars or more. So you better start saving if you want one. So all of this sounds like good news, but just remember, google searches for “why is my iphone slow” skyrocket around this time of year, and many people blame apple for making their phone slower so they are incentivised to buy a new one. So take this with a grain of salt, i encourage you to do your own research and compare products, because after all, 1000 bucks is a big purchase.
What do you think? Is 1,000 dollars worth it for a phone that probably will break in the next year or so?
