Kim Kardashian develops a phobia of people SEEING HER after those unflattering paparazzi bikini shots.
Just because she’s KIM FREAKING KARDASHIAN doesn’t mean she’s immune to insecurities.
On Sunday night’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode Kim Kardashian West got personal. Kim opened up about her struggle with body confidence after those less-than-flattering paparazzi photos were taken of her in Mexico in April. Kim’s body dysmorphia showed up front and center while in the car on the way to the 2017 Met Gala in NYC. Kim started to panic over her appearance and freaked out saying, “I’m literally going to sh*t my pants!”
Later in the episode Kim admitted that she has a “full phobia” of people seeing her since the photos started circulating online. Kim admitted QUOTE, “When will they stop with this story? You definitely get a thick skin once you have been through it a lot, but pictures just keep coming up every day and they just won’t let it go. I know I can handle anything and everything, and if I can’t handle it… who can?”
Kim went so far as the saying the photos made her want to stay home, “I am just in the house so much that I get so freaked out if anyone like, looks at me. [It’s a] full phobia – I freak out about everything. Why do I subject myself to being seen? Why don’t I just stay home?”
Kim’s sisters took notice to Kim’s increasing insecurities and decided to do something about it. Khloe and Kourtney devised a plan to help Kim get her confidence back. Khloe distracted Kim by asking for help cleaning out her closet while Kourtney deleted apps from Kim’s phone.
The interaction seemed to work because in the end Kim agreed to take a short break from social media and online blogs to see if it helped calm her insecurities.
