I think we can put Carpool Karaoke to rest now that Sam Smith has been on it. Sam is the latest celeb to join James Corden in his carpool karaoke adventures and it was literally the best one I’ve ever seen. (Sorry, Adele.) The two sang new songs from Sam’s album like ‘Pray,’ and ‘Too Good At Goodbyes.’
But of course, this episode of carpool karaoke wouldn’t be complete without some of Sam’s classic hits like ‘Money on My Mind,’ ‘I’m Not the Only One,’ and ‘Lay Me Down.’
After performing a perfectly harmonized version of ‘Lay Me Down,’ Sam told James that he was one of the first people to draw attention to that specific song and what James said next will probably make you cry. Because it definitely got Sam all teary eyed.
Ugh, it just warms my heart that Sam is still so humble after all of his incredible success.
While I could’ve lived with the entire episode just being about Sam, because believe me, I was totally living, things got crazy when Sam’s favorite girl group Fifth Harmony joined in on the fun. His reaction is probably what mine would’ve been if Sam hopped in my car just to sing a song with me.
Okay, now that we’ve gotten their meeting out of the way, here’s a great clip of Sam performing ‘Work From Home’ with Fifth Harmony in the car and it’s pretty amazing.
I AM LIVING. So what did you guys think of Sam’s Carpool Karaoke appearance? Did you love it as much as I did? Because it was INCREDIBLE. Anyway, let me know all your thoughts in the comment section below. When you’re done with that, click right over here to watch as Normani comments on all of those rumors about Fifth Harmony splitting up.
