Liam has dropped the official music video for his latest single, ‘Bedroom Floor.’ The video stars Bella Thorne as a girl who’s had enough of her boyfriend’s two-timing ways. As Liam serenades the camera, the story of the broken relationship plays out onscreen.
Liam previously teased the video with a look behind the scenes. In the teaser posted to his Twitter, Liam explained that the intention behind the song and vid is that he is singing what Bella is thinking.
But not technically Bella’s thoughts. More like.. Charlie Puth’s thoughts, because Charlie actually co-wrote the song with Liam.
Are you confused yet? So is the rest of the internet.
Twitter had a lot to say about the video, now that it’s been released and the nature of the storyline is revealed to be so heavily along the lines of heartbreak, and that both Bella and Charlie are involved. We all remember their strange drama last year when Charlie practically accused Bella of cheating on Tyler Posey with him, and Bella was all “we aren’t even dating.” And it was just. So. Bizarre.
One user wrote QUOTE
“it’s actually pretty awkward that liam included both charlie and bella in bedroom floor like wyd”
Another user wrote QUOTE “when you momentarily forget bella dated charlie puth and now she’s in liam’s video for a song written by… charlie puth”
And then, followed up with QUOTE:
“MY HEAD HURTS IS BEDROOM FLOOR ABOUT HER”
That escalated quickly, but seriously though… Is it? Or is it possible that it’s been almost an entire year and that neither one of them really care at all? Or was Charlie just as shocked to discover Bella lip syncing his lyrics?
The plot thickens. We’re thinking this is probably not a big deal, but I really want to hear your thoughts, so get the convo going down below and then you can click right here to see Harry Styles reveal his biggest fashion regret.
