Holly Willoughby is departing her role of co-presenter of the ITV series You Bet! after its first series.
The Dancing On Ice star teamed up with Stephen Mulhern to host two episodes of the rebooted series when it premiered on ITV in December last year. The show is set to return for more episodes, but will be hosted solo by Stephen when it returns later in 2025.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed to Metro in a statement: “Unfortunately Holly couldn’t commit to the dates to host, but will hopefully appear as a guest panellist on one of the shows in the new series.”
The show’s relaunch featured celebrity guests including Rob Beckett, Judi Love, Alison Hammond and Olly Murs.
You Bet! sees contestants use their unique talents to take part in a series of challenges, while the studio audience and celebrity panel place bets on their success.
At the end of each episode, the studio audience’s favourite challenger wins £10,000, while the celebrity team with the most correct guesses wins £10,000 for the charity of their choice.
The game show originally hit UK screens in 1988 and ran until 1997, featuring hosts such as Sir Bruce Forsyth, Matthew Kelly and Darren Day.
The show was Holly Willoughby’s first new show at ITV since departing her This Morning presenting role in October 2023.
Earlier this year, she presented the survival show Celebrity Bear Hunt on Netflix alongside her co-star Bear Grylls.
The star has also been growing her lifestyle brand since her This Morning departure, recently announcing a new homeware collection with Dunelm.
